Slack Pete's Rockets is proud to offer the Hypertek hybrid propulsion systems. Ranging in power from I-class to full M-class motors, and in 54mm, 75mm and 98mm diameters, the Hypertek hybrid motors not only offer the low running costs associated with hybrid rocket motors, but additionally, their completely electronic ignition means there are no pyrotechnic components required for any part of a Hypertek hybrid rocket motor.

The Hypertek hybrid rocket motors require the Hypertek Ground Support System. With this system, the hybrid rocket motor combustion chamber is filled with Gaseous Oxygen (via a solenoid valve). The oxygen vents harmlessly through the nozzle. The oxidiser tank is filled with Nitrous Oxide oxidiser via a central fill stem, and is again controlled via another solenoid valve. The motor is then ignited by means of an electrical spark in the gaseous oxygen rich combustion chamber, this then ignites the Nitrous Oxide and the rocket launches.

NOTE: You will need a supply of liquid nitrous oxide, gaseous oxygen and a hybrid fill system for these motors.
