Overview

These minimum diameter models are designed for all out performance.

Although the Extremes can be flown using the conventional motor charge for ejection, instructions are included to configure them for altimeter ejection. An altimeter mounting kit is included to install the altimeter in the payload section. Using an altimeter for deployment ensures that the parachute is deployed at apogee, reducing stress on the recovery system. This method has the added advantage of determining how high the rocket went.

In addition to the complete standard instructions, additional modification instructions are included to beef up the Extremes for higher impulse motors.

The Extreme 24 will allow you to really push the envelope in terms of all out altitude for 24mm diameter motor powered rockets. The 24mm motor mount enables black powder Estes D-class motors or composite Aerotech E-class motors to be used.
