Overview

The Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) is one of the PML rockets designed with military styling. The AMRAAM is available in three diameters, the AMRAAM 2 (2 inches diameter), the AMRAAM 3 (3 inches diameter) and the AMRAAM 4 (diameter). The three diameters provide rockets capable of being flown on anything from F-class motors (the AMRAAM 2), to K-class motors (the AMRAAM 4).

Each size of PML AMRAAM rocket kits comes complete a complete set of decals, as well as with both the 4 main G-10 fibreglass fins, and the 4 small G-10 fibreglass forward fins (Note: all of the fins in each size of PML AMRAAM kit are fixed and are not moveable). Each rocket uses a single main parachute with a standard PML piston ejection system.
