R.A.T.T. Works 29mm Hybrids
The photograph shows an example of a R.A.T.T. Works hybrid rocket motor fuel grain before firing (the upper grain), and after firing (the lower grain). Note the reduction in length and deformation of the fuel grain after firing.
Because of the reduction in length, deformation and burn through in the fuel grain, the fuel grain cannot be re-used for additional flights. It should only be used for one flight only.
The brown section at the right hand side of both fuel grains, is the nozzle holder. The nozzle is submerged within the nozzle holder. A new nozzle and nozzle holder is included with each fuel grain reload.
