In addition to the solenoid fill valve, a dump valve can be used, to dump the Nitrous Oxide rapidly, and a pressure guage can also be fitted. All fittings are lubricated with Nitrous safe grease such as Krytox. A common source of Nitrous Oxide compatible solenoid valves and cylinders are those manufactured by NOs. These are available from car racing shops, as is is the Nitrous Oxide itself. Nitrous Oxide can be bought from car racing shops which also sell the cylinders used to hold the Nitrous Oxide. Given the small size of the oxidiser tanks of the H-70 and I-70 hybrid rocket motors, a full cylinder should last for 5-10 flights of the hybrid rocket motors. When the Nitrous Oxide in the cylinder is used up, the cylinder is taken back to the shop for a refill.
