Photograph of a 1/2 scale replica of a Patriot Missile launching on an Aerotech J-415 White Lighnting solid rocket motor.

The rocket was flown at the 1999 International Rocket Weekend at Largs in Scotland, and measured 7.5 inches diameter and 8 feet tall. The rocket was a PML kit.

The electronic recovery deployment was controlled by a Black Sky Research ALTACC recording altimeter/ accelerometer, with a 2-stage recovery system being employed, with a drogue parachute being deployed at apogee, and a main parachute being deployed at 400 feet altitude. Both parachutes were ejected via pistons.
