This photograph shows an R-DAS attached to a carbon fibre mounting board for easy fitment within High Power Rocketry standard diameter airframes. As can be clearly seen, an ejection system is wired in to the R-DAS, with a Robby's Rockets Loadable Ejection System (LES) being used as the ejection charge holder. The LES is mounted to the bulkplate. (for recovery system deployment). The bulkplate, recovery strap and phenolic coupler tube shown are standard PML components.
The photograph to the left shows the R-DAS being slid into the payload/avionics section of the airframe. Clearly visible, is the carbon fibre mounting frame, as well as the spacers used to separate the R-DAS from the carbon fibre mounting block.
