Along with the growing popularity of onboard avionics systems, is a growth in the range of pyrotechnic recovery deployment systems. The recovery deployment systems sold by Slack Pete's Rockets, are all capable of working in conjunction with any of the altimeter/accelerometers and timers that we sell. When used properly, the combination of an altimeter/accelerometer and or timer, in conjunction with a pyrotechnic recovery deployment device, will enable safe and reliable recovery of a rocket, time after time.

Spacetec Safeject
- The Safeject pyrotechnic deployment system is the latest pyrotechnic deployment system to enter the market, and provides a pyrotechnic deployment system which can be ignited by use of standard igniters.
BlackSky Research PRM2 (Pyrotechnic Release Mechanism)
- The first new method of recovery deployment for a while was the PRM, and now its successor, the PRM2. This system enables a drogue and a main parachute to be housed in the same recovery tube volume, whereas previously, 2 separate tubes would have been required for the drogue and the main parachutes.
